This hands on lab provides a guided walkthrough of deploying and configuring the Object First Ootbi appliance in a controlled environment. During the session, the Object First team will lead participants through the full setup process, demonstrating how the platform is installed, configured, and integrated with existing backup infrastructure. Attendees will follow along step by step while the engineers explain the core components of the system, security architecture, and the role Ootbi plays in protecting backup data.

Participants will also connect the appliance to Veeam Backup & Replication, review immutability and security configurations, and validate backup workflows in real time. Throughout the lab, engineers will answer technical questions and explain what day to day management and operation looks like after deployment. The session is designed to give a practical understanding of how Ootbi works with Veeam while allowing participants to experience the setup process firsthand without making any changes to their production environment.
